Professor of the Nutrition Area of the Health Sciences Faculty and researcher of the FoodLab research group.
PhD at the University of Barcelona (UB) and Msc at the University of Glasgow in Public Health Nutrition, and a Bachelor in Pharmacy (UB). At a professional level, she has participated in both promotion and research projects in food and health, mostly multidisciplinary, both national and European, in public-private partnerships.
Professor and academic coordinator at the University framework and the training of health professionals at the level of Online Platforms (UB-IL3 University, Ágora Sanitaria, UOC University). She is currently a professor in the Nutrition Area of Health Science Faculty at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), where she is the Director of the Master's Degree in Food and Physical Activity and Sports. He is also Coordinator of the Food and Nutrition Area of the Official College of Pharmacists of Barcelona.
She has been director of the Mediterranean Diet Foundation research group of the Catalan Nutrition Center of the Institute of Catalan Studies (CCNIEC). She is currently a researcher at the group FoodLab, an interdisciplinary research group on food, nutrition, society and health at the UOC.
She is a member of the group of experts of the PASS program (Comprehensive Plan for the Promotion of Health through Physical Activity and Healthy Eating) of the Catalan Government, of the Scientific Committee of the National Food Board of the Official Council of Pharmacists; and of the Dialogue Table for the prevention of eating behavior disorders of the Catalan Consumer Agency of the Catalan Government.
